**Halter Training ** MUST BE 10 YEARS OLD Want to help train an alpaca? It can be fun and entertaining to say the least. When you click on book a tour, pick Halter Training. It is very limited so we ask that you PLEASE let us know if you can't make it so someone else can join us. Only 12-14 people walking alpacas at a time. Plenty of distancing. Arrive a few minutes early, pick your alpaca, get a short training session and off you go. You will be walking your alpaca for approximately 40 minutes on a 1 mile sandy trail. There will NOT be a full farm tour at these times. Please do not book a farm tour and a halter walk on the same day in JULY or AUGUST, its too hot to do both. We charge $20 each and you must be at least 10 years old to walk your own alpaca. We charge $10 to accompany us if you aren't walking an alpaca. When entering how many in your group DO NOT include those that are just tagging along, only alpaca walkers. The walk is a mile long through the sandy trails, so please NO ONE under the age of 6, they haven't made it yet! Good hiking shoes are a must, our trails are not a county park.
